Eastern Europe is currently the fastest growing economy in Europe. Countries like Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, the Baltic states of Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia joined the European Union in 2004 and are now enjoying a significant economic growth.

Many western technology giants as well as other blue chip companies invest in Eastern Europe creating hundreds of jobs. It makes plenty of new opportunities for qualified and experienced people from the West to relocate to Eastern Europe. Eastern Europe has a lot to offer.

The newly westernized countries are characterized by a strong sense of freedom, followed by the push to follow western fashion, traditions, and lifestyle. Local business people shop in stores that sell international goods, looking for well-known designer names. Both international and local products are readily available in the increasing number of hyper-markets and chain stores. Many expatriates working for international companies live very comfortably in Eastern Europe as their salaries are usually higher than those of local workers.

It gives them a lot of opportunities to explore the culture and new emerging tourist destinations in Eastern Europe.
