Previously, the UK was a mainly industrialized industry, however this has changed over the years with it being a leading globalised country. The UK plays a leading role in the global economy, due to its GDP and financial importance. It is a financial centre for international business, and commerce.

The UK has strong ties with the US and Europe and is a strong global manufacturer and supplier. Motor supply, engineering, electronics, pharmaceutical are all strong primary sectors.
